CNC Lathe Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Lathe Operator to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to learn a wide range of duties and acquire new skills. The primary function of the job will be to set up and operate CNC lathe machines in a high precision, low volume environment. Candidates will initially start by operating the machines and eventually learn how to perform setups. Additionally, there will be opportunities to engage in honing and heat treating processes, as well as assisting in other areas such as deburring, packaging, and more.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathe machines
Perform honing and heat treating processes
Assist in other areas such as deburring and packaging as needed
Ensure precision and quality of machined parts
Read and interpret blueprints
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Essential Skills
Experience operating CNC machines
Ability to read blueprints
Willingness to assist in various areas as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in an ISO environment
Ability to set up CNC lathes

Work Environment
You will work in a small job shop environment with roughly 12 employees. The atmosphere is relaxed and the shop is very clean, though it is an older facility. Most employees are experienced and understand what needs to be done, contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
