Job Description: Ryan Companies has an exciting opportunity for an Art Director. This role will work efficiently with the design team as well as internal and external clients to produce and ensure the consistent, timely and accurate delivery of high-quality print and digital visual assets. Work both as an individual contributor, as well as lead a team of designers. As the Art Director, you will bring our can-do, problem-solving skills to the team and play a key role in bringing the Ryan brand to life across various platform while maximizing a team of design professionals to execute engaging deliverables that meet the needs of our internal and external clients. The graphic design team supports all teams across our Ryan offices, but we most often and most closely collaborate with marketing colleagues, corporate services team members and those in business development roles. Some things you can expect to do: Visual Storytelling & Concept Development Formulate design concepts and presentation approaches for visual productions and media, including print, digital and video. As hands-on leader, create custom digital and print designs used in a variety of creative projects including print and digital advertisements; proposals; brochures; social media graphics; websites; jobsite marketing; apparel; and promotional materials. Support the continued growth and business development of Yellow Truck Creative. Lead the overall visual style and direction of our photography and ensure that all images meet brand standards. Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead and maximize the talents of the creative team to execute engaging deliverables that meet the needs of internal and external clients. Foster professional growth for the design team; ensure they understand what is expected of them and support their performance by providing regular feedback and meaningful recognition. Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Design Execution & Oversight Create annual creative team budget and monitor throughout the year. Generate and maintain standing reports and dashboards on creative team activity, keeping leadership informed of ROI, success stories, and overall alignment with strategic business goals. As needed, work with marketing leadership and internal partners to plan, create, and facilitate the implementation of strategic marketing initiatives that support our business and growth goals. Job Requirements: Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite experience 10+ years graphic design experience on a corporate marketing or agency team Experience leading, developing, and managing a creative team. Experience coordinating and overseeing production of media and marketing materials Experience designing for digital and print materials Knowledge of and/or experience in a broader marketing role is helpful Four-year degree in graphic design or related field is required Superior technical skills, with advanced knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite Excellent design sense, able to create custom design with minimal direction Current in design trends including color schemes, fonts, styles Able to train/coach others in technical design skills Strong collaboration skills, able to work with a wide range of personalities You will really stand out if: A strong drive to succeed balanced with a desire to bring people along on the ride Strong organizational skills; able to juggle multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines Discipline to follow processes and manage priorities Strong desire to learn and grow and passion to explore new design trends and approaches Ideal candidate is not easily daunted or intimidated, displays confidence in the face of skepticism Candidate shares the Ryan values and adds to the positive spirit of the team and the Ryan culture overall Eligibility: Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. Compensation: The salary range is $96,000.00 - 120,000.00 annually. Th base salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
