Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) Applications & Integrations Administrator Full-time, exempt Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 Onsite; not eligible for relocation The Job The Applications & Integrations Administrator serves as an integral part of the Information Systems (IS) department and broader functional technology teams, serving as subject matter expert and primary administrator for several of the museum s enterprise applications. This position partners with other members of the Information Systems team, institutional leadership, and stakeholders throughout the organization to plan, implement, maintain, and support Mia s enterprise systems and their integrations. This position requires excellent use of personal judgment, interpersonal communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to team building and cooperative work. In this role, you will 1. Application Administration & Systems Integrations Serve as the primary application administrator for several of Mia s enterprise systems: NetSuite, Asana, Dayforce, AkitaBox, Artifax, StaffSavvy, Square & Other Point-Of-Sale systems. In collaboration with the Head of IS and IS team, manage systems integrations, APIs, account management, continuous process improvement, data quality and integrity, data governance, custom development, lifecycle management, system monitoring and updates, disaster recovery, information security, permissions management, and user provisioning & training. Partner with the IS team, cross-functional Mia teams, external vendors and consultants to plan and complete enterprise system changes, integrations, updates, and maintenance. Coordinate and communicate systems changes, upgrades, feature improvements, scheduled maintenance etc. with stakeholders. Lead the planning and implementation of user provisioning, permissions, data governance, and security audits of enterprise systems. Partner with the Information Systems staff to plan, implement, and verify data security, backup solutions and disaster recovery for enterprise databases. Serve as escalated support for Help Desk requests across all areas of expertise. Proactively monitor and respond to alerts for the museum s critical enterprise systems and processes - including on-call and after hours support as necessary. 2. Project Management, Consultation and Collaboration Consult with stakeholders, leadership, and vendors to develop and implement short- and long-term planning in support of department and institutional goals and objectives. Serve as project manager for Enterprise Systems projects including scoping, stakeholder engagement, communication, development, implementation, support and maintenance. Participate in institutional project management conversations and serve as a key stakeholder, advisor, and advocate for project management practices across the institution. Identify opportunities to implement or iterate on existing application-based processes to alleviate pain points, increase efficiency, or take advantage of opportunities to grow or evolve services. Participate in assigned workgroups, task forces, and other ad-hoc and permanent collaborative groups. Participate in Information Systems operational planning and team-building efforts. Communicate regularly with Information Systems colleagues and stakeholders to foster a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive work environment. 3. Documentation, Training, Reporting, and Data Quality Improve processes and data collection practices to ensure high-quality, timely, accessible, and accurate data. In collaboration with other Mia teams and stakeholders, build and enhance a culture and practice of data literacy, standardization, governance, and stewardship. Provide documentation and training for Mia s staff (end users) and the IS team (technical). Create and maintain documentation, process maps, diagrams, and other collateral describing the museum s enterprise data ecosystem. Plan and implement regular data quality and security audits. In colla oration with the Enterprise Systems team, Mia s financial analyst, and other Mia stakeholders, work to develop a centralized reporting and visualization tool (Tableau). Identify and implement reporting policies and procedures, and data visualizations including data dashboards for internal and/or external stakeholders. 4. Other duties as assigned To be successful in this role, you have Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions. Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize work. Ability and willingness to work independently and as an active team member. Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile. Knowledge of business analysis/process improvement methods such as Lean. Knowledge of change management methodologies such as PROSCI. Requirements: Required: Bachelor s degree is preferred in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3 years in a similar role Experience in customer service or client support Preferred: Certifications relevant to the requirements of this position 5+ years of relevant experience Experience providing consultation, planning, and project management support for technical projects Experience working collaboratively with vendors to install, configure, manage, and support enterprise technology Work in a museum, education, or nonprofit environment Technical proficiencies: Enterprise application configuration and administration: ERP (NetSuite), CRM (Salesforce), Asana, Dayforce, AkitaBox, Artifax, StaffSavvy, Square, FreshService APIs and systems integrations SQL, relational database management, Javascript or similar programming language Google Workspace, Microsoft O365, especially Excel, Reporting and Visualization (Tableau or PowerBI) Data security, privacy and governance Project management tools such as Asana Mia Culture The Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) is an audience-centered, equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone is welcome.
