Honeywell is hiring an Advanced Project Engineer that will report to the RLG Sensors and IMU Senior Engineering Manager within Sensing, Guidance, and Navigation in our Minneapolis, MN location. As an Advanced Project Engineer you will be responsible for leading and managing advanced projects related to RLG Sensors and IMUs.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to define project requirements, develop project plans, and ensure the successful execution of projects. You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a hybrid work schedule.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage advanced projects related to RLG Sensors and IMUs

  • Define project requirements and develop project plans

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution

  • Work closely with peers and team members, customers, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met and completed in a timely manner

  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet project goals and objectives

  • Supports technical projects or phases of projects involving the design and development of new products or improvement of core products and/or processes

  • Plans work packages and develops cost, schedule, and milestones for small to medium product development activities

  • Interface with technical leadership, program manager, and customers

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in project management or engineering role
