Summary The Account Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. This position will partner with the sales staff to organize and review each job thoroughly and carefully, compare the job to the corresponding estimate, prepare the various components for the Production Department, process purchase orders and billing, and maintains open lines of communication between customers, sales, and the plant on all jobs-in-progress. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Serves both sales and customers as primary contact and source of information on jobs Services the customer by solving problems, gathering and transmitting information as needed and demanding the highest quality product May assist in taking job specs from sales or customer, requesting an estimate and communicating estimate to sales or customer Receives job from sales or customer and compares with estimate and discusses any differences with customer and sales Initiates job ticket Tracks job through production and communicates any problems and changes to plant personnel, sales and customers Keeps accurate records on all jobs and customer contacts Inspects proofs and sends to customer. Sets up press check with customer if needed Assist with other departments with projects and duties Other duties as assigned Fosters a culture that values family, innovation, collaboration and empowerment Follows all safety and workplace policies Education/Certification Prefer 2 year technical/business degree or equivalent Experience 1-2 years of customer service experience Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required throughout the workday Flexibility to travel between multiple PD locations
