Robert Half Maintenance Technician in Mineral Wells, Texas
Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis! This individual will be responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal operation of our production machines and plant facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and plant facilities.
Respond to emergency/unscheduled repair needs during production, as well as scheduled maintenance during machine downtime.
Execute basic machinist tasks and apply mechanic skills involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service tasks.
Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, and test systems for functionality.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
Utilize hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to complete tasks.
Detect and report faulty operations or materials and escalate unusual situations to appropriate supervision.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.
