Job Title: Tool and Die Machinist

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for maintenance on CNC, fabrication machines, and saws. You will work with machinists to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, use Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to shut down machinery, and troubleshoot problems. Additionally, you will perform basic mechanical repairs on shafts, bearings, and other components.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on CNC, fabrication machines, and saws.

  • Collaborate with machinists to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Utilize Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to safely shut down machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems.

  • Conduct basic mechanical repairs on shafts, bearings, and other parts.

Essential Skills

  • Electrical troubleshooting including PLC and 480V, 3 phase wiring.

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience.

  • 5+ years of experience using blueprints or schematics.

  • 5+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience.

  • Knowledge of conduit, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Journeyman status is highly preferred and offers additional compensation.

Work Environment

This position is for the 3rd shift, from 10pm to 6am, and includes a .85 cent premium. The work environment is structured to promote safety and efficiency, with a focus on maintaining clean and organized facilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
