JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Project Specialist III is an integral team member of the assigned studio, working on a variety of projects and serving on various project teams. Project Specialist III is an advanced support position for the Project Manager and/or Project Architect in the production of construction documents and drawings. Guidance and supervision are provided by the Project Manager and/or Project Architect on work assignments related to specific projects. The Studio Partner provides overall direction to the work of the project teams and the Project Specialist III. - Produce construction documents using Revit/BIM processes according to specifications - Produce schematic designs - Lead and complete quality document checking - Lead and conduct research on products, code and ordinances to determine compliance and make recommendations and implement to project team - Establish relationships with consultants and engineers and utilize their services to advance the work of the project - Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards and ensure that project team is enforcing - Conduct field Investigations for assigned projects - Complete shop drawing reviews and submit to Project Architect or Project Manager - Active participant at project meetings including presenting information, answering questions and following up on any necessary actions. - Work directly with Project Manager in completion of and leading project tasks when no Project Architect assigned to team ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Associate\'s degree in Architecture - Three or more years\' experience as Project Specialist II or equivalent Architectural design/drafting experience - Demonstrated success and knowledge growth in the position of Project Specialist II - Understanding of RFP and RFI process - Working knowledge of site planning and civil engineering - Working knowledge of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems - Ability to read and interpret construction documents, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals - Ability to write routine reports and correspondence that are thorough, concise and appropriate to the audience - Ability to Travel between the Office and Client/Job Sites.
