Be a part of an award winning, interdisciplinary design firm with architects, engineers, planners, lighting designers, landscape architects, and interior designers working together to create holistic designs for healthcare, the arts, community, education, corporations, government and district/campus energy clients. In this role you will: Work under the guidance of the Project Engineer in the design and documentation of project solutions and construction documents with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and constructability Perform mechanical and/or plumbing engineering design calculations Research code issues and work with City, State and County officials Analyze reports, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work Interact and communicate effectively and professionally with other team members Maintain, organize and archive all project related documents Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned You will need to have: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering or working towards a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a plan to graduate in one to two years from the time of applying Ability to obtain PE registration in the near future A perfect position for new graduates, but one to three years\' experience is preferred Proficiency with Revit software and excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite essential Familiarity with mechanical analysis software (i.e., race 3D, Carrier HAP, ot IES-VE preferred) Knowledge of current sustainable technologies applicable to mechanical systems design Salary Information: The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
