Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Food Manufacturing
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with mechanical and electrical abilities to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining slicing, packaging, and pressing machinery/equipment. Our company specializes in food products such as sliced fruits & veggies, fruit juice, and other healthy products. We are looking for an individual who can step in and help our team maintain efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on slicing, dicing, packaging, and pressing machinery for fruit and other products.
Conduct mechanical repairs on conveyors, belts, bearings, gears, and pumps.
Handle electrical repairs, including single/3 phase motors, fuses, relays, and 120-480v components.
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for effective maintenance and repair.
Ensure machinery and equipment are functioning optimally to meet production requirements.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in food manufacturing or similar industry.
3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical repairs.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs.
Experience with machine building and fabrication.
Strong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and 3-phase electrical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and machine building is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment
You will work in a very clean and organized facility. The available shifts are 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3pm-11pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
