Overview We are looking for aHR Intern - Manufacturing Recruitingto join our Hourly Manufacturing Talent Acquisition team at A. O. Smith. This position will be located on-site at ourMilwaukee World Headquarters (11270 W Park Place, Milwaukee, WI). This role is year-round and offered until graduation and requires a minimum of 12 hours/week during the school year and upto 40 hours/week during the summer. The HR Intern - Manufacturing Recruitingwould ideally start during the Summer of 2024 (May or June 2024). What You\'ll Gain Mentorshipfrom in-house corporate and hourlymanufacturingrecruitmentteams at a Fortune 1000 company Experience full-cycle recruiting on your own requisitions from start to finish Opportunities to shadow HR Professionals outside of Talent Acquisition Responsibilities Support the Manufacturing Recruiting Team with recruiting (sourcing candidates, screening resumes, schedule interviews, monitoring background/drug screen status of candidates) Support the Salaried Recruiting Team as needed Be the Lead Recruiter on Internship/Co-op/Early Career/Entry-Level roles (including sourcing, screening, and interviewing) Reconciling billing for our job board ads Complete Talent Acquisition projects as assigned Support the Corporate Training & Development team as needed Qualifications Graduate/undergraduatestudent in Human Resources preferred Strong interest in learning recruiting as a future career path Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, takes initiative, ableto work independently within a quiet office environment Previous recruiting or human resources internship experience a plus but not required A.
