As a Planning Principal focused on Health Sciences Education, you will find opportunities for professional development and, through your creative approach, the opportunity to contribute to impactful design. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of professional experience with a focus in planning and programming for nursing, health science, and medical education projects for academic clients across the country. Experience with healthcare and general higher education planning and programming will also be considered. In this role you will: Serve as a thought leader in health science and medical education in support of HGA\'s national market strategy Lead the programming and planning approach and outcomes for health sciences and medical education environments that enable advancements in pedagogy, skill development and student engagement. Engage clients, users, and other constituents to develop consensus and validate program requirements. Develop space programs and physical space type plans at a variety of scales. Collaborate with the principals, panners, project managers and designers to develop strategic planning and programming solutions. Lead the documentation of space type systems such as casework, equiment, and the development spaces to create next generation settings for learning and discovery. Manage one or more small to medium-sized planning projects, including negotiating project scope and fees, schedule and quality. Participate in marketing efforts through proposal development, interview participation and presentations. Develop trusting relationships with existing and potential clients. Share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues and mentor the next generation of thought leaders. Integrate and advance sustainable design solutions into hte planning and programming process. Assist in the development of planning and programming standards to be used by all HGA offices.
