JOB REQUIREMENTS: Estimating Supervisor Job ID 2025-9099 # of Openings 1 Type Full-Time State WI City Milwaukee Shift First Overview Leads the estimating department and ensures accurate and competitive cost estimates are provided to customers. Applies metal fabrication process knowledge to troubleshoot complex estimate requirements. Primary location can be Milwaukee, Madison, or Neillsville, Wisconsin. Responsibilities Supervises the estimating team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure high-quality work and adherence to deadlines. Maintains standardized estimating processes, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy. Collaborates with sales, engineering, and production teams to gather requirements to ensure accurate quoting. Monitors estimating metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and suggests corrective actions as needed. Analyzes product drawings to identify materials, labor, and equipment requirements. Performs full range of supervisorial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget. Performs other duties as assigned, which may include leading projects of varying scale or scope. Qualifications Job Skill Requirements Comprehensive understanding of materials and metal fabrication processes, such as welding, forming, machining, and finishing operations. Proficient in estimating software and spreadsheet applications. Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines. Leadership and team management experience. Education Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field, or equivalent education and experience. Experience Requirements Five years of experience in cost estimating. Metal fabrication industry experience preferred.
