  • Work 4 days a week! Monday through Thursday,3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.

What You'll Do

As a CNC Machinist, you’re not just running machines—you’re shaping the future of manufacturing with your expertise! Here’s what your days (and nights) will look like:

  • Own the Machine Floor:Set up, program, and operate Haas vertical and horizontal machining centers, turning centers, andG&L boring barswith confidence.

  • Flex Your CAM Skills:Use a CAM system (preferably Mastercam) to craft programs that make parts come to life.

  • Create with Precision:Develop processes, select tooling, and execute setups to produce parts with tolerances as tight as +/- 0.005".

  • Keep it Smooth:Perform progressive machining operations with dimensional accuracy and stellar finishes.

  • Inspect Like a Pro:Ensure every part meets the highest quality standards through inspections and detailed documentation.

  • Innovate:Provide feedback to optimize programs, tooling, and processes.

  • Stay Safe and Tidy:Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace—because safety is always the #1 priority!

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Experience:2-3 years of CNC machining experience, with hands-on expertise in Haas machining centers (vertical, horizontal, or turning)and G&L boring bars.

  • Programming Prowess:Solid knowledge of G&M code programming. Bonus points for conversational programming skills.

  • CAM System Savvy:Basic programming experience using a CAM system, preferably Mastercam.

  • Blueprint Mastery:Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and GD&T.

  • Tooling Know-How:Deep understanding of carbide drills, end mills, inserted cutters, and boring tools.

  • Material Whisperer:Familiarity with machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials, including optimal feeds and speeds.

  • Inspection Skills:Confident in measuring lengths, diameters, straightness, flatness, and more.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or GED required; Journeyman or a 2-year technical degree preferred.

  • Mathematical skills to navigate geometry, trigonometry, and machining layouts.

  • Critical thinking abilities to solve real-world machining challenges.

  • Physical stamina to handle frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing, and bending.

Work Environment

You’ll spend your time in a dynamic shop environment filled with machines, forklifts, overhead cranes, and the occasional outdoor project. Moderate noise levels and the hum of productivity are part of the deal.
