AUDITOR (Office of Comptroller) Hourly Pay Rate: \$23.21 - \$34.82 Closing Date: July 16th 2024, or upon receipt of 50 applicant submissions Job Summary: Under supervision performs onsite performance and compliance audits and special review of Milwaukee County department programs and contracts for the purpose of reaching conclusions regarding economy, efficiency, program effectiveness and compliance with policies, rules and regulations, and assists in reconciling bank accounts as needed to meet the Division\'s centralized bank reconciliation responsibilities. Job Responsibilities: Research applicable policies, procedures, legislation, County ordinances, resolutions, state and federal laws and regulations. Conducts research identifying potential risk areas and best practices. Observes operations and participates in interviews to understand operations. Participate in auditee interviews.
