Aerotek A&P Mechanic in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Aerotek is currently accepting applications/resumes for a Licensed Aircraft Mechanic vacancy located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Position:

FAA Licensed Aircraft Mechanic

Shift:

1st shift M-F 7:00am - 4:00pm

Position Description:

Working on turbo prop cargo aircrafts.

Fleet includes Shorts 3-30 and 3-60, Cessna Caravan, Pratt & Whitney PT-6, King Air, and Twin Otter (non-pressurized and with retractable landing gears).

Primarily performing heavy maintenance and line maintenance, which will include A, B, C, and D checks.

Documenting all work procedures and signing off on paperwork for the FAA.

Will need to look up Maintenance manuals on computer and log books in house to troubleshoot parts.

Will be involved on reposition and retro-fitting of mid-life aircraft, which will be a full teardown and overhaul in 90 days.

May travel in company vehicle to aircraft located at outstation or various locations if needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES: - Active A&P License and 1 plus years of experience. - A&P Tools

NICE TO HAVES: - Previous cargo aircraft experience. - Experience with Short or King Air aircraft. - Previous sheet metal repair experience.

Ideally would like candidates that are willing to travel. Could have to potentially support work demands in Puerto Rico for 1-2 weeks through out the year.
