Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Accountant with comprehensive financial expertise and a proven track record of success in financial analysis, production, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and advanced analytical abilities. The successful candidate will thrive in a deadline-driven environment and demonstrate proficiency in Excel.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Produce monthly evaluations for the master trust, ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial reporting.

  • Collaborate with team members to classify and analyze financial statements, incorporating data into spreadsheets.

  • Utilize intermediate-level Excel skills to perform calculations and analysis efficiently.

  • Apply knowledge of securities and financial instruments to accurately assess valuation and accruals in production.

  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet deadlines consistently and contribute to team productivity.

  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners, fostering positive customer relationships.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to four years of experience in financial accounting activities

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in accounting or auditing, particularly in handling financial statements, investments, and taxation, is essential.

  • Strong understanding of securities and financial instruments, with the ability to analyze investment portfolios effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.

  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $58,650.00 - $69,000.00 - $75,900.00
