1 Job Function Quality & Regulatory Overview The Instrumentation, Calibration Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing ICS team for the maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of a variety of circuits, components, analytical equipment, and instrumentation for research & development and manufacturing laboratory equipment. This individual also maintains the environmental monitoring system and temperature mapping of all laboratories cold storage units ensuring they continue to operate and meet quality and compliance requirements. Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities: Effectively lead, plan, co-ordinate and execute all Instrumentation/Calibration activities. Primary liaison for response and scheduling of unscheduled service events with effective planning of task allocation. Maintain active certification status of all temperature storage devices and calibration standards meeting compliance requirements. Support with the organization and maintenance of laboratory equipment and the associated documentation. Troubleshoot, maintain, and service a variety of laboratory equipment, including routine calibration and preventive maintenance services. Training of new Instrumentation/Calibration Technician as SME in the general use, function, calibration and preventive maintenance of designated equipment and instrumentation Coordinate outsourced services with qualified, approved vendors with priority scheduling of their services. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electronic asset management system. Ensure data is current and accurate. Mentor other Instrumentation/Calibration team members. Co-administer the Vaisala viewLinc monitoring, alarm, and reporting system. Initiate and review change requests, collaborations, corrective actions/preventive actions (CAPAs), non-conformance material report (NCMRs), etc. within electronic quality management system (EQMS) Manage team tasks and priorities. Qualifications Requirements: Applied sciences, engineering, instrumentation or industrial automation degree and commensurate experience is required. Basic understanding of small equipment components and functionality i.e. Electromechanical troubleshooting and circuits. Successful proficiency and competency of all essential functions of Instrumentation/Calibration Technician. Effective management of ICS team's bandwidth to prioritize tasks and activities. Good interpersonal, people management and coaching skills. Must be willing and able to work on call as essential staff on nights/weekends/holidays. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) and good communication skills Ability to work both as a part of a team and independently. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Valid Washington driver's license At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $87,000-$120,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
