Statement of Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Inpatient Director, monitors responsibility for scheduling nursing staff for all nursing units at Milford Regional Medical Center . The staffing coordinator collaborates with Nurse Managers in order to book unfilled shifts on monthly time schedules generated by all Nurse Managers. The position is also responsible for assistance in filling sick calls and monitors the position control book for Patient Care Services. Other duties include special projects as designated by Nursing Administration that require skills such as the use of medical terminology and computer use.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma and/ or Equivalent. Experience: Typing or Word Processing, computer skills a plus- Word & Excel. Strong communication/telephone skills. Medical terminology course or medical background.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
