Junior Finance Controller
We're seeking a Finance Controller based in Milan.
As a Finance Controller you will support your team in preparing, evaluating, maintaining, and delivering complete and accurate financial reports for a portfolio of clients.
What You’ll Do:
Utilize aggregate data from multiple sources to generate comprehensive reports.
Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management and vendors.
Address and resolve issues and requests from management teams and clients regarding various reports and financial matters.
Investigate open accounting issues and identify potential conflicts to implement corrective actions and minimize disruptions.
Complete accounting transactions and support Finance colleagues in preparing client financial statement packages.
Prepare monthly P&L statements.
Generate accurate and comprehensive financial packages.
Understand and utilize scenario planning tools/models (exit/maintain/grow) while analyzing trends in general business conditions.
Perform cost and profit margin analysis, as well as budgeting.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred, with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Knowledge of TM1, PeopleSoft, and Power BI is a plus.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred. Minimum of four years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to achieve working level skills in either a contracts database or Ariba Contracts Management Module.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
