Position Responsibilities:
Build and migrate applications, software and services on the AWS platform. Formulate and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS technologies. Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS. Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community. Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers. Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates. Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support. Develop and lead executive briefings, conversations with business and technology executives. Develop business and technical content for Experience-Based Acceleration mechanisms to lead new technology adoptions. Develop technical and operational content and lead Immersion Days, workshops, trainings to large audiences at customer locations.
Position Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or related occupations of Database Administrator, Support Engineer, Systems Engineer or another related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): designing, implementing, and consulting with distributed applications; architecting, provisioning, and deploying applications to public cloud environments or on-premises virtualized environments using C++, Perl, Python, Java or equivalent programming language. Up to 25% domestic travel is required for business purposes for this role. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.
