About the role

The Project Manager provides project management consulting services for our global technology client account with direct accountability for project delivery. The Project Manager will achieve the company's strategic business objectives for multiple multiuse facilities construction projects for R&D labs and corporate office campus buildings. Projects consist of small to medium OPEX tenant improvements under $1M in scope.

This job is part of the Project Management function and responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. Role is remote but prefer a candidate in the Eastern or Central time zones to support facilities in those time zones.

What you’ll do

Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

Interface directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.

Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.

Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.

Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.

Direct the project team by providing mentorship and direction to achieve goals.

Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.

Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

Mentor others and share knowledge of your own job subject area and broad understanding of several job fields within the function.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence). Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.

  • General knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project.

  • Advanced organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality
