My client is looking for a Director of Global Procurement. The ideal candidate will oversees the procurement strategy and operations across all global locations, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. This role involves managing a complex network of suppliers, negotiating large-scale contracts, and leading a team of procurement professionals. The Director is responsible for ensuring cost efficiency, risk management, compliance with global regulations, and the timely delivery of goods and services.
salary: $175,000 - $185,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key categories to meet productivity, cash flow, supply, quality, innovation, and supplier diversity targets.
Establish and maintain supply agreements with major strategic suppliers, overseeing proper execution by both parties.
Evaluate alternative sourcing locations and methods for business continuity plans and productivity opportunities.
Achieve key financial KPIs for categories, including productivity and cash flow.
Develop and deploy benchmarking and reporting scorecards for supplier improvement plans and efficiency enhancement.
Establish, monitor, and update purchasing policies, procedures, and practices, considering cross-functional dependencies and supporting organizational change.
Support ongoing cost analysis and vendor performance measurement tools.
Formulate and manage cost savings and innovation proposals internally and externally.
Lead a team and collaborate with other departments, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, Marketing and Sales.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. An advanced degree, such as an MBA or Master's in Supply Chain Management, is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Knowledge of procurement regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
Experience with ERP systmems (NetSuite, SAP, etc).
