Nielsen’s marketing team is tasked with unlocking revenue growth by solidifying and strengthening our domain authority and effectively connecting with our target audience at key (and measurable) moments that matter throughout the buyer journey. About the job

  • This role will be responsible for executing engaging digital experiences that resonate with Nielsen’s audiences and will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Nielsen Corporate Website and will partner collaboratively with cross-functional teams in managing website requests and ensuring the execution of the digital experience is inline with stakeholder goals.

  • This position ensures that Nielsen’s content engine operates smoothly by coordinating processes, personnel, and technology to execute top-tier digital content and campaign experiences at scale. You’ll help shape the platform itself, identifying benefits, best practices, and requirements for enhancements in partnership with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategy for Nielsen’s web properties, collaborating heavily with Integrated Marketing and technology teams in planning, development and optimization

  • Serve as a WordPress power-user and other centralized web operations tools, building and updating web pages

  • Define goals and objectives and determine which content methods and tools to use for each initiative

  • With an eye for design, partner with stakeholders in Creative, educating them on WordPress capabilities and requirements to design optimal digital experiences across devices that create brand preference and drive business needs

  • Partner with SEO manager execute their optimization plan for organic search

  • Support reporting and measurement for stakeholders by implementing a content categorization and tagging system

  • Work cross-functionally to develop and streamline workflows to increase efficiency, effectiveness and scalability

  • Be an advocate for digital best practices, in collaboration with content creators and designers across the organization

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in B2B Marketing, Media, and/or related field

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Technology or a related field

  • Strong proficiency with WordPress and Content Management Systems

  • Fundamental knowledge of the interplay between content, technology, and people

  • Experience with digital and web content strategy, implementation, and optimization

  • Experience with Yoast or similar SEO plugins

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Google Search Console

  • Understanding of content personalization and measurement tools (i.e. Optimizely, Pars.ly , Knotch, A/B testing platforms etc.)

  • A proactive, goal-oriented team player able to work independently and collectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability and interest in learning new web-based tools or platforms

  • Strong relationship skills capable of developing, maintaining, and growing internal and external strategic relationships across partners and functions

  • Data-driven, analytical, with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong project management and communication skills
