We are looking for a versatile Sr. Marketing Manager who is responsible for designing and executing the strategy to drive Prime Video growth in Mexico. This person will be leading marketing programs and initiatives to customer acquisition and subscriber growth, as well as growing and developing new revenue streams for Prime Video; additionally s/he will work in collaboration with the Central and Regional Product, Programming, Marketing, Engagement, Ads, Sports, Customer Insights, Payments and Distribution teams to define the priorities and key projects to drive growth. This role will also focus on cross-benefit initiatives, pricing strategies, industry players bench-marking as well as customer understanding. The role is responsible for the planning, execution, forecasting and continual testing and improvement of demand marketing, working closely with our Finance team. As a result of the broad scope and critical nature of the position, the role will interact at all levels of seniority in the company.

The successful candidate will be data-driven with a proven track record of driving growth through online, mobile, and offline marketing programs. S/he should be able to think/act strategically, develop structured plans and be willing to execute hands on with a start-up type of mentality. S/he balances creativity with analytics and agility with operational discipline. Candidates should be both idea generators and builders, with a strong sense of accountability, and a keen focus on delivering great customer experiences and strong, measurable results. S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be comfortable diving deep into the data, yet able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities, and take fast decisions. The role will have no direct reports, but requires managerial skills to influence others and manage senior internal and external (agencies) stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive Growth and Customer Acquisition initiatives across teams for country/region

  • Create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategies to drive new customers to Prime Video across all our channels (web, mobile, Living Room Devices, distribution partnerships)

  • Own and present to senior leadership key performance metrics around customer acquisition, cost per new customer

  • Procure, negotiate, manage and leverage strategic relationships with internal and external partner teams to drive key performance metrics

  • Develop a strong culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration; use data to measure and understand customer behavior and apply/share those insights to be used in our marketing levers

  • Collaborate with other teams of the Prime Video org, including Central Marketing, Product and Payments, Business Intelligence, Programming, Finance, Ads, Engagement, among others, to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish

  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

  • Working in subscription based industries or businesses
