At Amazon Mexico, we're transforming how businesses grow in the digital marketplace, and we need an exceptional Events Manager to help us reach more entrepreneurs. This role is crucial in driving our mission to be Mexico's most trusted partner for business growth through Amazon's selling tools and resources.
As our Seller Marketing Events Manager, you'll create compelling in-person and hybrid events that showcase Amazon's marketplace advantages and success stories. From hands-on workshops teaching Amazon's selling tools to large-scale seller conferences, you'll design experiences that demonstrate the clear benefits of selling on Amazon. Working with business associations and government partners, you'll expand Amazon's reach to diverse entrepreneurs across Mexico, introducing them to opportunities that our marketplace offers.
Your events will blend practical Amazon seller training with strategic networking sessions, where current sellers share their Amazon success stories and best practices. Whether it's helping established businesses maximize their potential on Amazon or guiding new entrepreneurs through their selling journey, you'll create experiences that drive seller adoption and growth. Your work will directly strengthen Amazon's seller community in Mexico, helping transform local businesses into thriving digital enterprises through our marketplace, tools, and resources.
Key job responsibilities
Organize and coordinate events in Mexico for SMB owners and entrepreneurs, press and media, policymakers, and thought leaders.
• Present and drive adoption of the suite of tools that Amazon has to offer SMBs.
• Build and manage trainings and workshops built in collaboration with government to train and help launch entrepreneurs and SMBs on Amazon.
• Work with the PR team to drive coverage of our events and collaborations, including case studies, to improve general perception around Amazon’s role towards supporting local small businesses.
• Create a network across various Amazon departments to build a joint programs and events that enable SMBs learn and grow on Amazon.
A day in the life
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for Small Business Empowerment and entrepreneurship. They would be highly organized, and on top of the details, with experience in event planning. They can work independently to prioritize opportunities and deliver results, but will also be required to collaborate with other teams including Public Relations and Public Policy. They will have strong people skills and will be comfortable building new relationships with senior external stakeholders.

Through strategic marketing initiatives and impactful events, we're expanding opportunities for local entrepreneurs while enriching Amazon's marketplace with diverse, local businesses.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Bachelor Degree completed
English proficiency: Fluent (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
