Teradata DevOps Engineer in Mexico City, Mexico

What you will do

As DevOps Engineer you will be part of the Release Team, responsible for building and delivering the latest versions of our products across the different cloud service providers:

  • Coordinate the release process with the different stakeholders

  • Ensure the latest BOM versions are created for our products

  • Update the development and testing environments with the latest release versions

  • Automate and optimize the release process

  • Troubleshoot problems raised as part of the release process

Who you will work with

In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, test and devops engineers to ensure all the components of the BOM are in place. You will report to the Engineering Director and Site Lead, who is responsible for different quality aspects of the released products.

What makes you a qualified candidate

  • Graduate in Computer Engineering or a related field.

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • From 2 to 4 years of DevOps experience

  • Strong knowledge of Python

  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or any CI/CD tool

What you will bring

  • Experience with automation tools is appreciated.

  • Knowledge or experience in Teradata products is a plus

  • Knowledge of containers using Docker or Kubernetes.
