Conducts stress, fracture and fatigue structural analysis of aerospace components. Performs structural analysis nature using conventional hand analysis and/ computer analysis. Develops and documents structural test efforts to assess structural integrity of metallic and non-metallic aerospace products. Works to design parameters to access the structural integrity of metallic and non-metallic aerospace component parts. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity. Uses and validates Continuous Improvement tools to solve problems. Knowledge of classical hand analysis methods used in aerospace applications, along with training on Finite Element Analysis Tools such as NASTRAN & PATAN or similar software applications are required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Mechanic, Aerospace or related
2 to 4 years of experience in similar role
Understanding of load paths and various aspects of airframe design using metals and composites.
Strong technical writing and PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity.
Expresses problems, issues, and opportunities to peers and supervision.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work closely as a team with other international locations.
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
