Overview
The Process Development Manager is responsible for the development, improvement, and training of the Mechanical Division’s operational processes and procedures. The Training Manager will produce material and work with operational leadership to teach the Mechanical Operations staff techniques and best practices to deliver their projects and operate their business units more efficiently.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
• Manages and assists in the development of Methods of Procedure for the Operations Division of Mechanical Delivery.
• Manages the Methods of Procedure and ensures that they are current with divisional leaderships expectations.
• Collaborate with members of the Operations and Operational Servies team to develop Methods of Procedure and training materials to meet the divisional leaderships expectations.
• Works closely with divisional leadership to identify educational/training schedules based on business needs.
• Partners with the Bernhard team members to ensure they are appropriately prepared to deliver training sessions on Methods of Procedures. This includes making sure the individual is familiar with the training material and how the Method of Procedure will be implemented in the business routine.
• Trains Bernhard team members to have a full understanding of Bernhard’s Methods of Procedure.
• Checks in with regional leaderships and department heads to ensure that Methods of Procedure are being implemented and verify if additional training is needed or if a procedural change/upgrade may be necessary.
• Supports regional and divisional leadership by evaluating any outside leadership, supervision, or manager training programs that may be beneficial.
This position is Full-Time, Exempt, and reports to the Executive Vice President - Operations.
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
• At least 15 years verifiable experience in plumbing and HVAC commercial construction management.
• Proven communication skills and understanding of all aspects of commercial plumbing and HVAC business operations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various creation, preparation, and delivery of operational processes and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years of training experience in commercial construction business and field operations.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to meet multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Travel Requirements
• 0-20% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
Physical/Work Environment Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Quiet environment.
• Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Pay Range
USD $100,600.00 - USD $134,300.00 /Yr.
