Digital Press Operator 1
Orora Visual – Dallas
Responsibilities:
The Digital Press Operator is responsible for:
Coordinating files and printing files to Digital Press.
Maintenance and General up keep of the equipment.
Recording Material/Ink consumption and waste.
Color correcting files as instructed.
Ensuring that the proper hard count for each job is printed.
Loading and unloading material to the machine.
Maintaining accurate logs for production and down time errors.
Communicating any problems to the proper Supervisor.
Maintaining the highest possible Quality Control
Skills :
Skills necessary for the function of this job are:
Organization.
Basic material, printing and manufacturing knowledge.
Mac skills including Photoshop Illustrator and Quark.
Time Management
Knowledge of Safety regulations
Grace under pressure
Good communication skills are also necessary, including the ability to speak and understand English. Extended knowledge of manufacturing and printing experience are a major plus but not a requirement to perform these job functions. ·
Experience:
3 5 years experience in a manufacturing/printing facility.
Safety training.
