Pharmacy Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a fast-paced, mail-order pharmacy environment. This role involves handling specialty medications and supplies, ensuring accuracy in order processing, and maintaining proper inventory and storage standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process pharmacy orders, ensuring all required medications and supplies are included.
Handle and package specialty pharmaceuticals in compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures.
Manage inventory, including ordering medications and supplies as needed.
Ensure proper storage of all medications, including refrigeration of temperature-sensitive products.
Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment to maintain optimal performance.
Qualifications:
6+ months of experience in a pharmacy setting (mail-order experience preferred).
Active pharmacy technician license (if required by state).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with pharmacy operations and inventory systems is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in retail, hospital, or mail-order pharmacy.
Knowledge of pharmacy software systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
