Pharmacy Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a fast-paced, mail-order pharmacy environment. This role involves handling specialty medications and supplies, ensuring accuracy in order processing, and maintaining proper inventory and storage standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process pharmacy orders, ensuring all required medications and supplies are included.

  • Handle and package specialty pharmaceuticals in compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures.

  • Manage inventory, including ordering medications and supplies as needed.

  • Ensure proper storage of all medications, including refrigeration of temperature-sensitive products.

  • Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment to maintain optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of experience in a pharmacy setting (mail-order experience preferred).

  • Active pharmacy technician license (if required by state).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Familiarity with pharmacy operations and inventory systems is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in retail, hospital, or mail-order pharmacy.

  • Knowledge of pharmacy software systems.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
