Care to Stay Home Lead Caregiver in Meridian, Idaho

Responsibilities:

We have opened a new office in Meridian to serve the Treasure Valley area, and we are currently seeking to fill 2 Lead Caregiver positions. These roles are instrumental in establishing care for new clients and training our new caregivers to seamlessly transition into ongoing care responsibilities. The ideal candidates will be charismatic, personable, confident, and possess a positive disposition.

Initially, we will guarantee 20 hours of pay per week, with the possibility of re-evaluation as our operation expands. As a lead, we require you to have 24-hour availability to accommodate new clients on short notice. However, regular working hours will typically be during the daytime. Weekend availability is also essential, although it would be required only on a short-term basis if the need arises.

Initial tasks will include:

  • Completing office tasks to set up accounts and onboard new caregivers
  • Assisting the General Manager with client and caregiver assessments
  • Providing initial 3 days of care to new clients and training regular caregivers for ongoing care
  • Filling in for absent caregivers as needed

Here\'s what you should bring to the table:

  • Active CNA Certification:Holding an active CNA certification in Idaho, with a solid foundation of professional training and expertise in the role.
  • Extensive Experience:A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a CNA, with practical knowledge and skills in providing quality care to patients.
  • Versatility:While prior in-home care experience is preferred, the ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities to ensure excellence in various care settings.
  • Reliable Transportation:Possessing reliable transportation, a valid driver\'s license, and a clean driving record with auto insurance, to ensure punctuality and accessibility for all shifts.
  • Weekend Availability:Recognizing the importance of flexible scheduling in healthcare, must be available to work weekends as needed, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
