Wisconsin State Job Bank Experienced Concrete Finisher / Tech in MENOMONIE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Looking for an experienced concrete finisher in the Menomonie, WI area. This is a Monday through Friday job with the occasional Saturday. In this position, you will work with a crew of four or more on mostly commercial flatwork. Individuals will work with the crew in the set-up, pouring, and finishing of concrete for various commercial applications. Candidates must be physically capable of completing various tasks associated with pouring and finishing concrete flatwork and poured walls, including smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete, such as foundations, floors, walls, and sidewalks using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms and use saws to cut expansion joints. Preferred: understand/read blueprints, plans, and elevations. Calculate amounts of concrete required for each job. Those with a mechanical aptitude can gain additional winter hours by helping us maintain and modify our fleet of equipment, vehicles, as well as building maintenance.
