Kohl's Senior Search Engine Optimization Coordinator (remote eligible) in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT The Senior Search Engine Optimization Coordinator is responsible for driving organic search traffic and improving SEO performance. This will be achieved through a combination of SEO analysis, content creation, keyword research and collaboration with teams across the organization. The Senior Search Engine Optimization Coordinator will lead aspects of the SEO team’s day-to-day operations and manage relationships with key business partners and vendors.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
SEO RESEARCH AND OPTIMIZATION
Responsible for measuring, reporting and evaluating SEO performance for internal stakeholders.
Analyze keyword trends and performance data to identify SEO optimization opportunities.
Ongoing communication and collaboration while acting as a point of contact for internal stakeholders.
Problem solving and curiosity to seek out creative solutions.
CONTENT CREATION
Create keyword-rich content that meets SEO best practices while providing an excellent customer experience across Kohls.com on product pages, catalog pages, blog posts, page titles, and internal linking sections
Perform frequent content audits and refreshes to keep SEO content on Kohls.com relevant and strategically impactful.
Work within existing workflows to effectively prioritize, execute and track optimizations.
SPECIAL PROJECTS & VENDOR PARTNERSHIP
Lead critical efforts with external partners and vendors and act as the main point of contact.
Head special projects and initiatives such as local SEO, store information and profile management, cross functional collaboration and data governance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
3-4 years SEO experience, with demonstrated success in content creation
Ecommerce experience is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently
Problem solving and analytical skills
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Working knowledge of website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Search Console, BrightEdge ScreamingFrog and more
Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel and the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Proficiency with Google suite (Gmail, Google Slides, Docs, Drive, etc)
