JOB SUMMARY: The HRIS Analyst is primarily responsible for providing support in the auditing of data integrity, testing of system changes, ongoing system support, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities within the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Support the design, development, and implementation of system modifications and upgrades to enhance functionality of the Human Resources Information System Supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Performs preliminary/cursory testing and recommends improvements for assigned application modules. Schedules training sessions, creates job aids, and conducts end user training. Creates and analyzes standard and ad-hoc queries and reports Create and distribute aesthetically pleasing reports and dashboards to executive level leadership Participate in HR Systems user acceptance testing to ensure successful end results and serve as a point of contact for HR in data and system processes. Create reports and dashboards to deliver HR analytics and ensure data accuracy and data integrity. Perform routine tasks for projects or departments and work on project-based assignments. Takes the lead on all HRIS day to day activities Gathers information for reported incidents and problems via HRIS inbox and ticketing system, and assists with troubleshooting, escalating as needed. Performs audits and ensures data integrity in HRIS systems. Assists with projects and process improvements to facilitate movement to new levels of quality and procedural efficiency. Creates internal departmental process documents and external end user SOPs Assists in partnering with vendors to resolve complex software issues with delivered functionality. Acts as liaison for employees and management to answer questions regarding HRIS systems Maintain and support HR applications; ensure data integrity by regularly reviewing and auditing data flow and troubleshooting issues. Manage data analysis and re orting needs for the HR department. Assist in creating useful tools, reports, and methods for HR subject matter experts to execute their respective functions. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. Work closely with HRIS Management to identify and prioritize tasks based on all systems needs and business strategy. Work with manager on special projects as needed. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully; however, in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications, and Experience may meet the job qualifications. Education, Training, Certifications: High school Diploma, or equivalent, required. A bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration, required. Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements: Minimum two years' experience in Human Resources, with a general understanding of HR practices and policies Analyst experience preferred. Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work. Communication Skills: Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English with employees and customers. Systems and Software Skills: Highly Proficient with Excel including pivot tables, V-look ups, etc. PowerBI experience, ideal. Data Visualization Experience, preferred. Intermediate Microsoft Visio skills and experience documenting HR processes, ideal. Other Qualifications: Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. Occasional travel required up to 20%. Must be able to comply with Summit's Drug and Alcohol Policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreements.
