Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Memphis, Tennessee. This role is focused on supporting our team's financial operations, with a key focus on account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and tax return preparation. The successful candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
• Undertaking the preparation of tax returns for various entity types.
• Conducting account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and other software for financial tasks.
• Preparing journal entries and managing the general ledger.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely closure of accounts at the end of each month.
• Reconciling balance sheets and bank statements.
• Implementing and using new tech, while also teaching others how to use it.
• Communicating effectively with clients to resolve inquiries and issues.
• Offering problem-solving ideas and recommendations to clients.
• Ensuring the success of small businesses by providing excellent financial support. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Demonstrable ability with Bank Reconciliations
• Comprehensive knowledge of General Ledger management
• Experience with Journal Entries
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Prior experience with Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with NetSuite software
• Proficiency in Oracle software usage
• Experience with SAP software
• Ability to handle Payroll Tax Returns
• Experience in preparing Tax Returns
