Air National Guard Units PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (FLEET MANAGEMENT) (TITLE 32) in Memphis, Tennessee

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (FLEET MANAGEMENT) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD2421000 and is part of the TN 164th AW, Air National Guard. This vacancy is covered by Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT), Chapter 115 (Pyramid on the River Chapter). Responsibilities As a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (FLEET MANAGEMENT) GS-1152-09, (TITLE 32) you will, serve as the program manager for the fleet custodial account, vehicle authorization and utilization programs. Determine, coordinate and ensure timely development of weekly, monthly, and yearly operational and maintenance plans for assigned general and special purpose vehicles and a variety of equipment. Manage, formulate and perform analytical data reviews on a wide range of production indicators to assist in improving productivity or in determining causes of production delays. Perform Materiel Control functions. Manage Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) program. Participate as OJT Instructor in the Vehicle Management area. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E-5 THORUGH E-8 AFSC: 2T3X1/2T3XT GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1 year at the next lower GS level or 24 months specialized experience, education or training scheduling workflow in more than one area and responsible for coordinating products or materials from support activities. Experience in performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility. Experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. Education Education Requirement: NONE Additional Information If you are a male applicant who was born after 12/31/1959 and are required to register under the Military Selective Service Act, the Defense Authorization Act of 1986 requires that you be registered or you are not eligible for appointment in this agency (Register | Selective Service System : Selective Service System (sss.gov)).
