We are Memphis Auto Auction, a leader in the automotive auction industry and a winner of the Auction of the Year award. Due to an increased business needs, we are looking for Auction Drive crew members to work PART-TIME at our Memphis Auto Auction facility in the airport area of Memphis. We are currently looking for drivers who can work a part-time schedule that consists of Monday - Friday for 4-6 hours/day.
Your duties and responsibilities will included:
Safely transport clients' vehicles to and from numerous dealerships throughout the Memphis area.
Drive vehicles through our auction bay during the auction's sale day.
Verify and document any physical damage prior to entering a vehicle.
Add fuel to vehicle when needed.
Assist our lot crew in maneuvering vehicles in the proper location for sale day.
Insure vehicle is safe to operate on the highway or streets.
Observe and obey safety rules pertaining to the motoring public as well as on the auction lot.
This is a part time position pays $10 per hour.
Required Experience:
Your qualifications for this position should include a H.S. diploma or the equivalent, and a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. You must also successfully pass a drug screen and background investigation, and be at least 18 years of age (for insurance requirements).
In addition, you must be able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles, and know how to utilize jumper cables in the event a vehicle becomes stranded.
