Aerotek Cook in Memphis, Tennessee

Aerotek is seeking cooks for several hospitals throughout the Memphis Area! Our clients are regarded as some of the finest hospitals in the area and provide excellent long-term growth opportunities. These positions are a great fit for someone who is looking to grow their career within the food industry.

Cooks are responsible for:

  • Preparing large bulks of food for daily meals served within the hospital.

  • Using correct portioning and standardized recipes for attractive, tasty food items.

  • Maintaining kitchen equipment as instructed.

  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils before, during and after services.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will be ok working within a hospital setting.

  • Will have around 6+ months of experience working in a commercial kitchen, fast food, casino, or hotel environment.

  • Will interact with customers and co-workers professionally.

  • Can lift up to 50+ pounds at times

Pay:

  • $15 - $15.50

Shifts will be depending on hospital location.

  • Must be comfortable working weekends – hospitals run on a 365/24/7 schedule and will need open availability.
