Republic Finance, LLC Administrative Assistant (Help Desk Support) in Memphis, Tennessee

Overview & Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the internal Support Center for Republic Finance. The support center is a help desk to our 200+ network of branches located in 9 states. This team supports branch operations in a number of ways including technical support. The Administrative Assistant will answer phones, respond to emails and monitor online requests for support using applicable systems. Job responsibilities are as follows:

  • Responsible for reception, answering phones, and voicemail retrieval and response

  • Perform basic tasks for Support Department including basic daily or monthly audits, aging histories for customers, 1098 forms and small balance payoffs

  • Perform basic tasks for Credit reporting, Applications and Logins Department, including deleting duplicate electronic applications, rerouting electronic applications to another branch or rerouting electronic applications to another queue, faxing inquiry removals, password resets, notating account with EOscar blocked notifications, and handle cash drawer transfers

  • Perform basic tasks for IT/Technology support group including testing the fax machine, checking pre-assigned phone numbers for assignment to New Branch location, giving the branches status updates when there is a major printing issue and closing printing requests after a server reboot

  • Sort and file paperwork, send mail and/or faxes and distribute packages

  • Maintain and update office signs

  • Complete weekly office supply order, stock and maintain supplies in company break room

  • Conference room attendant

  • Send invoices approvals to accounting, and UCC branch information for accounting

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Clerical and administrative experience

  • Practical understanding of technology with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows

  • Organization, planning and administrative skills

  • Ability to get along with others, work well in teams and relate to people

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Ability to recognize critical situations and escalate when needed

  • Ability to adapt and be flexible when needed

  • Stress tolerant and have a constructive approach to interpersonal conflict

  • Communicate well with all levels of management and work successfully with a wide variety of individuals
