Skills Required

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of Program/Strategic Communication experience to include a minimum of five (5) years working in a DoD/Space Force environment.
  • Launch and Range acquisition and execution experience is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD/Space Force Strategic Communications policies and guidance.
  • M/S office applications, i.e., M/S Outlook, MS Teams, Zoom.gov, Task Management Tool (TMT), Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
  • Work independently, as well as with at team, on time-sensitive high visibility tasks.
  • Program management experience, strategic planning experience, or senior-level government office administration experience working in a CAG-like environment is desirable.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum Active DoD Secret clearance (required); TS/SCI Clearance (preferred).
  • US citizenship (required).

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.

Overview We are seeking a professional with written and verbal communication skills to execute the duties of a C-Suite level Communications Analyst reporting to senior Assured Access to Space (AATS) personnel. Applicant will be responsible for developing integrated communications and programmatic products for the Assured Access to Space organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic communications plan and messaging campaign for Assured Access to Space organizations.
  • Interact with a multidisciplinary Assured Access to Space technical workforce to develop products that are consistent with the strategic messaging plans.
  • Interpret requirements to develop bullet background papers, talking papers, briefings, media query responses, and other ad hoc communications products that meet or exceed the content and quality requirements for senior Space Force Leadership (O-7, O-6, NH-04/GS-15).
  • Interpret and implement guidance received from the senior leadership to develop programmatic and communications products.
  • Develop and maintain Strategic Communications Plans that follow policies/guidance and integrate AATS operational and acquisition information for a diverse set of audiences and stakeholders.
  • Participating and running working groups, conferences, tracking, and running projects effectively, and the ability to accomplish tasks through coordination with geographically separated governmental and non-governmental organizations.
