Schedule: 40 Hours per Week

Pay Rate: $40.82 to $45.23 per Hour

Role Overview:

Are you ready to make an impact on building the infrastructure that powers the digital future? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Administrator Construction Manager to oversee Outside Plant (OSP) construction activities in Norwalk, OH. In this key role, you will ensure that critical projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You’ll be at the forefront of building the next generation of digital connectivity, working with contractors, municipalities, and internal teams to deliver excellence in infrastructure projects.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Oversee OSP Construction: Manage contractors performing OSP construction work, ensuring that all activities meet quality standards and project timelines.

  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with state, local, and company requirements, especially when working within public Rights-of-Way (ROW) or utility easements.

  • Project Coordination: Work closely with state and local municipalities, utilities, and internal teams such as the company Construction Supervisor and OSP Engineers.

  • Project Scheduling & Inspections: Ensure timely completion of projects, conduct pre and post-construction inspections, and monitor material management and inventory.

  • Reporting & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of as-builts, invoicing, timesheets, and project expenditures to ensure that budgets and timelines are adhered to.

  • Collaboration: Team with departments such as Logistics, Contract Administration, ISP Engineering/COE, Project Management, and others to ensure successful project execution.

  • Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with all safety standards and practices, including Work Zone Protection (WZP) and Traffic Control Plans (TCP).

Required Qualifications:

  • OSP Construction Knowledge: Strong familiarity with OSP construction standards, practices, and unit descriptions, as well as SSP contracts.

  • Experience: A minimum of five years in OSP construction and splicing experience.

  • Project Management Skills: Ability to schedule projects, ensure accurate reporting, and monitor expenditures.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, extended periods of driving, and the ability to lift and carry moderately heavy objects.

  • Availability: Willingness to work overtime, be on-call during nights and weekends, and travel occasionally for overnight assignments.

  • Valid Driver’s License required for travel and site inspections.

Pay Details: $40.82 to $45.23 per hour
