Job Title: Packaging and Inspection Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Packaging and Inspection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure products are free of defects, properly packaged, labeled, and maintain accurate records. This role requires attention to detail, computer proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Inspect products to ensure they are free of defects before packaging.
Wrap, pack, and secure products in containers or boxes using various materials.
Properly seal and label packages according to company standards and shipping regulations.
Record package information, including weight and shipping costs.
Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in packaging and assembly processes.
Basic computer operation skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production or a similar environment.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing environment, requiring the ability to work under variable conditions such as temperature instability, exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or vapors, and solvents and other industrial chemicals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mcminnville, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90/hr.
