Guidehouse SharePoint Support Specialist in MCLEAN, Virginia

What You Will Do :

  • Work with stakeholders to effectively utilize team data repositories through one-on one trainings and troubleshooting sessions.

  • Grant access to SharePoint sites, OneDrive, Maintenance coordination and Permissions.

  • Integrating business content, business rules and workflows into the SharePoint platform using libraries, custom data sets, automations, and notifications.

  • Adding users and roles to control access to document libraries, and setting permissions to permit, restrict and revoke access as required. Create, leverage, and manage content types, site columns, lookups, and templates for re-use in sites.

  • Work effectively with teammates; collaborate on shared work products and related tasks to ensure best solution derived.

  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.

  • Create and maintain data visualizations (i.e., dashboards, reports, exports) to support business teams.

  • Implement data ETL, storage and performance strategies for optimal user experience.

  • Coordinate with different functional/technical teams to implement business solutions and monitor outcomes.

  • Perform analysis of industry standards, new innovations, technical data, and/or business and quality assurance procedures to generate solutions and analysis documentation.

  • Conduct unit testing of data transformations, configuration, and user interfaces to confirm functional requirements have been met.

  • Support the documentation of product deliverables including system configurations, gap analysis, release and deployment, stakeholder presentations and decisions analysis.

  • Provide input from high-level to detailed estimates for new requirements, change request and issue analysis.

What You Will Need :

  • TWO (2) years' relevant experience

  • Bachelor's degree or additional four years experience in lieu of a degree

  • Experience in a data analytics and or business intelligence solution development (i.e.Tableau, Business Objects or PowerBI; SharePoint)

  • Experience gathering data for analysis of complex problems, generating user stories/ tasks to define and implement functional & non-functional requirements.

  • Experience working with and creating data architectures; using relational databases.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.

  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance and unstructured data.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • Power Automate, Power BI experience.

  • Experience\exposure to relational databases (i.e., Oracle, MS SQL, AWS RDS, etc.); Excel, CSV, or non-SQL databases; data lakes.

  • Data Modeling: Physical\Logical diagrams experience

The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
