Project Manager, Models & Data Chief of Staff | Manager

General Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, Models & Data Chief of Staff you will:
Facilitate annual team mission updates and imperatives setting
Own/coordinate preparations for All Hands meetings, monthly department updates, and other events and operating routines
Facilitate People Committee meetings and coordinate across all teams to provide full visibility to the integrated people agenda and deliver on OKRs
Liaise with broader risk management chiefs of staff to ensure effective two-way communication, visibility of Models & Data initiatives, and timely responses to cross-department requests
Support and influence the Models and Data team’s distinct culture
Own department KPI and OKR management to ensure timely updates, consistency across teams, and effective escalation when appropriate
Lead department recognition programs and drive nominations, leadership voting, and awards processes
Own Models and Data business continuity plan (BCP) updates
Ensure effective execution of model risk controls and findings management processes across the department
Identify ways to improve and streamline department processes
Demonstrate agility to adapt to changing demands and put new structure in place when needed to support new priorities
Successful Candidates will:
Be capable of building effective working relationships across functional lines in a highly collaborative environment
Have demonstrated experience influencing others to complete planning activities
Understand key priorities and complex issues quickly and be comfortable developing and driving department communications
Have demonstrated experience managing project status updates, providing visibility into delivery targets, and challenging progress/escalating as appropriate
Be able to partner with and provide tactical support to project leads and teams to ensure successful project and OKR delivery
Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 3 years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters or MBA degree
5+ years of Project Management, Chief of Staff or executive support experience
Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile or Six Sigma certification
Strong problem solving and influencing skills
Work experience achieving results with complex projects
Higher level communication and collaboration skills
Exceptionally organized and well managed

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
