Steampunk Power Automate Developer in McLean, Virginia

Overview

As a Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools to meet mission needs. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, design efficient solutions, and deliver high-quality applications that automate processes, improve efficiency, and drive business value.

Contributions

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.

  • Design and develop custom solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Build canvas apps, model-driven apps, and automated workflows to automate business processes.

  • Customize and extend Power Apps with Power Automate, Azure Functions, and other integrations.

  • Develop and maintain data connections, data sources, and data integrations within Power Platform.

  • Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance in Power Platform solutions.

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for existing Power Platform applications.

  • Stay current with industry trends, updates, and new features in Microsoft Power Platform.

  • Provide level of effort estimates to project managers as requested to develop and meet project schedules; Provide technical advice and develop solutions as required

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen

  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience with Power Apps/Power Automate and/or;

  • Associate's Degree, with a preference of Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in an IT-related field.

  • Minimum of 1 Technical Certification:Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate).

  • Proven experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform architecture and components.

  • Proficiency in creating canvas apps, model-driven apps, and automated workflows.

  • Experience integrating Power Apps with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and other systems.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions and Azure SQL Database.

  • Experience with other Microsoft technologies, such as SharePoint, Power BI, and Teams.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Strong customer service skills, teaming skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team.

  • Ability to research and resolve problems efficiently and accurately, and establish any associated solution artifacts.

  • Performs detail-oriented task in an independent environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
