Hilton Manager, Business Travel Sales - New Account Sales in McLean, Virginia

This is your chance to be part of a Global Sales Team that ensures Hilton owners and operators receive the combined benefits of scale, access, competence, and experience. As a Manager, Business Travel Sales , you will support the team responsible for providing a differentiated selling platform for Hilton's diverse portfolio of brands by being motivated to grow market share. On the Americas Business Travel Sales team reporting to Assistant Managing Director, you will focus on onboarding and developing newly signed BTS accounts. Your primary focus will be on increasing revenue and room night production, while expanding Hilton's market share with these accounts to achieve your revenue goals. Additionally, you will oversee the annual RFP process for your assigned accounts.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Utilize Hilton’s value selling approach to engage with your portfolio of accounts.
  • Onboard new accounts signed on by our business development and new account sales team.
  • Develop and actively manage strategic account plans to drive success with your account roster.
  • Analyze customer data to make account management decisions that yield positive outcomes.
  • Review industry trends and competitor offerings to forecast and solve for future customer needs.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Account Customers and Travel Management Companies (TMC’s) – you will work with these key customers to influence a positive buying decision via in-person or virtual meetings. You will travel to meet with clients for some quarterly/annual business reviews and trade shows.
  • Hotels - you will actively engage, collaborate with and support hotel team members as you work together to drive performance and success.
  • Colleagues – you will be a part of a “one-team” commercial culture of collaboration to maximize enterprise success. You will frequently work with sales support team members on internal processes to support your accounts.

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

  • You will oversee your portfolio of accounts, ensuring revenue targets are met by cultivating deep relationships with your clients. By developing strategic hotel programs, you will drive revenue growth and expand Hilton's market share.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of work experience in hospitality / travel industry
  • Two (2) years of experience in business travel
  • Experience managing relationships with a demonstrated history of driving performance
  • Willing to travel up to 30%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Previous national sales or multi-property sales experience
  • Previous experience onboarding and managing new accounts
  • Experience with Hilton’s OnQ Solicitation Management tool and other RFP tools
  • Experience with MicroStrategy
  • Experience with Salesforce
