Wisp Resort Houseperson - Night Shift in McHenry, Maryland

Must be able to work night shift 5 days a week. Only reliable applicants please!

Position Summary:This is a hybrid position consisting of room attendant, janitorial and light maintenance duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Wisp Resort is a four-season ski, golf and recreational destination resort. Because of the nature of the resort business, employees may be asked to perform other duties outside of the job description. Also, hours of operation are 24/7 including weekends and holidays.

Position level will be determined based upon experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Level 1 - NE02 Maintain a clean and presentable hotel lobby, public restrooms, and hotel entrance. Upkeep of hallways, corridors, elevators, and stairwells. Removal of all trash from Office areas. Maintain a clean, safe, stocked work area and cabinets. Remove trash and dirty linens as needed from floors. Delivery of guest room amenities in a timely and efficient manner. Help hotel housekeeping staff with assigned duties when directed. Clean hotel kitchen area and service hallway. Clean and maintain the swimming pool area, fitness center, and changing rooms. Shovel and sweep outside as needed.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Level 2 (PM House Person) - NE03 All duties of a Level 1 House Person. Be able to perform a basic tidy in a guest room should it be requested. Close the swimming pool and fitness center nightly. Complete assigned turndown service in the King Luxury Suites. Take over PM light maintenance duties including programming locks, cable boxes, TVs, etc.. Understands and is trained on emergency procedures including opening doors and elevator evacuations.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, unless company sees capability without minimum education requirement

Language Skills: Basic English

Mathematical Skills: Basic math

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified Pool Operators (CPO) Certificate preferred
