Job Title: Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are now looking for a skilled professional with expertise in instrumentation and AutoCAD to lead small to mid-level Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) projects. This individual will play a crucial role in building and expanding the Controls Engineering and Instrumentation department across various industries.
Responsibilities
Designing detailed plans using AutoCAD.
Specifying process instrumentation to meet specific process requirements.
Developing loop diagrams and other instrument wiring drawings.
Creating Electrical Control Schematics.
Developing and applying detailed instrument installation plans.
Designing control panels, including associated field wiring and raceways.
Coordinating design activities with clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Reviewing and checking drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
Troubleshooting and programming Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Expertise in Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Extensive experience in instrumentation, including specifying process instrumentation, developing loop diagrams, and creating instrument wiring drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in automation and design.
Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation controls.
Strong background in I&C projects.
Work Environment
The role involves working across various industries and on new projects. The team has a great culture, and the individual will play a key role in growing an entire department. The candidate will support the new engineering manager by serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
