Dana Automotive Sytems Group LLC Facilities/Maintenance Technician in Maumee, Ohio

Job Purpose Dana is looking for an experienced individual to assist in maintaining and debugging equipment at Dana's Sustainable Mobility Center (SMC). SMC is a world class training, prototype, and testing facility and this role will be responsible for maintaining equipment through PM's and troubleshooting machine issues as they arise. Job Duties and Responsibilities Complete machine repair, set-ups, and changeovers Perform maintenance of machinery including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Experience with PLC troubleshooting Troubleshooting of Mechanical/Electrical hardware Ability to order and maintain spare part inventory Experience working with 12 VDC up to 480 VAC 3 phase power Keep up with preventative maintenance Experience with Fanuc Robot and servo drive experience Training of other associates in the organization EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics and Automation, or relevant work experience Two years' experience in a manufacturing environment Experience and skill in the following areas preferred: Troubleshooting, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, robotics, welding and basic fabrication PLC programming experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Beckhoff knowledge preferred) Mechanical experience is preferred Diagnostics experience in manufacturing environment (machine, equipment, etc.) GENERAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Experience using problem solving tools and techniques to root cause and prevent reoccurrence Able to make decisions independently with appropriate level of consultation/communication Strong communication skills, both oral and written, at all levels Comfortable with machine controls Experience with GD&T and proficient reading electrical and mechanical prints Commitment to the highest standards of ethical behavior in self and others; commitment to inclusion and diversity Sitting, reaching, bending, squatting, standing and walking on cements floors daily Ability and willingness to make suggestions as to changes or improvements for the work area/equipment Excellent analytical skills Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs Demonstrated ability to be proactive and think forward Willing to work overtime as needed We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
